So I'm trying to figure out how to do an enderman cosplay. (Enderman are enemies from the game Minecraft. They are tall, skinny, and black) I am really pale, so I feel like it would take away if I showed skin. Plus I have a long legs and arms so I feel like covering them up would be the best route in order to match them.
I knew I couldn't be the only girl who's ever wanted to cosplay an enderman, they're kinda awesome. So I looked on google to try and see if any one else had taken my route on it. They haven't, so I felt creative when I saw that.
But what really freaking bugged me was that a majority of what I saw the girls were wearing really small, or revealing clothing. (Not all, but when you only find about 10 girls it's hard not to group.) I understand that a person should show who the character is in their eyes, but why is it that a good chunk of female cosplayers have the need to flash their chest at everyone?
For me personally, it REALLY takes away from the costume if the person doesn't properly portray it. And while I admit some have to be revealing in order to match the character, there is a limit to what I find acceptable. Though, what do I know? Maybe there's a reason behind it.
